Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs - Leather Edition

I purchased this for our song leader, and he is very pleased with it! Really like the five ribbons to aid him in the congregational songs, and then to mark the songs he is teaching us during class time. Quality piece through and through!

I use this hymnal for playing preludes on the organ for our church services. My husband gave me the leather edition to use when I sit in the still of the morning, with my Bible, and meditate on the Word of God and think about the verses that inspired these great hymns of the faith. Whether singing, playing the organ, or observing a “selah”—a rest and meditate moment—this resource is a treasure of worship. 🎶

This hymnal is so beautifully crafted. I buy all my bibles with cowhide leather; and I just love the black cowhide cover and the kidskin on the lining. Not to mention the fact that I have my name engraved on it.

I very much look forward to handing this gorgeous hymnal down to my son when he gets older, that he may be able to enjoy, sing, and play the same hymns that I have so loved. I would hope he would also hand this down to his child as well. Thank you for putting this together, only hymnal I personally use now!

Thank you Melody Publications for putting this already amazing hymnal into this crisp classic look, it just blends in with all my bibles! I’ve got my Bible on one hand and this hymnal on the other…getting to sing and play (I play the trumpet) hymns that I’ve always known and cherished, but all the other lesser-known hymns and hymns I have never heard of before. I’ve had the pew edition for awhile, but having this leather bound edition in hand is a blessing! Praise the Lord!

I consider this hymnbook to be more than just a song book. It is an encyclopedia of hymnology as well and a real treasure to own. The classic hymns are all here in their entirety as well as many lesser known songs that are rich in doctrinal content. This new leather bound edition is first class in every area. The workmanship is impeccable. I love having this unique songbook in its newest format. Thank you Melody Publications for going the extra mile in this endeavor. (And yes, the leather smells as good as it looks....have you ever seen a Christian sniffing their hymnbook before? It's addictive.)
