Each volume of the Daily Strength series has songs suggested to use during your devotions; many of these songs are located in the Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs hymnal. All scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version.

It is such a beautiful hymnal. Natalie Raynes uses this hymnal when she goes live. I ordered the hymnal.
This has everything you need and want in a hymn book. I love the verse references that not only accompany a hymn, but each line in the hymn. It's also so nice to have backgrounds to hymns and/or the writers/composers of hymns available to read alongside the hymns. This is a wonderful resource.
We ordered these hymnal and they are wonderful. Nathan did a great job getting them here to Australia. They look great and we love them.
This round of ordering was to give to other brothers in Christ. To hopefully help them in their studies. I enjoy not only singing but also looking up the scripture that we’re used to help write the lyrics. The quality of these hymnals will last years and years. The blank pages in the back will allow for either adding hymns that are not already in the hymnal or I use them for a table of contents of songs that I enjoy. My God bless you.

Great tool for family devotions.
Perfect compliment to the hymnal. The set is complete; Leather bound hymnal, spiral bound for the piano and now the orchestration for accompany. Thank you for such a wonderful asset. Saves time and makes the whole process that much sweeter whenever others can join in.
Everyone should have this book; I have been in many churches and know a lot of hymns, but this book is filled with hymns that I have not heard of... just for that, it is great. I'm not sure how they did it, but the songs are clear and very readable (excellent font? good kerning?)
The songs are packed with information that is rare in a hymnal: some have musical notation (p, mf, etc). Some have a brief history of the song. There are more verses to the songs than I've ever seen in a hymnal.
All of these songs are older songs; I'm not very impressed with modern songs; I think the latest song might be around 1940; most of them are earlier than 1900. The old songs were far more substantive than the new songs.
It's almost a reference work more than a hymnal, and I'm thankful that I heard about this book and that it is on the piano at home.
Having said all of that, I'm not sure that this book would make a good church hymnal: in the first place, with 980 songs, it is HEAVY. Secondly, having a LOT of verses means that the song leader will need to do additional work in figuring out verses to leave out.
This is a tremendous blessing to churches. It is a hymnal unlike any other I have seen. It is filled with doctrinally sound music and provides added details regarding authorship, song and author history, scripture references, and restoring songs to their original fashion. The quality of the book itself is outstanding. It looks and feels better than other hymnals I have used. For churches that are interested in biblical, Christ-honoring, conservative songs, this songbook is a great addition to their music collection. We ordered 57 hymnals for our church and they arrived within two days of placing the order.
We are praying about a future Hymnal as the church is growing and this is definitely a top choice.
I am the Worship Pastor at my church. I want to learn all the old hymns in this book and the original versions of these beloved hymns. But what I love most about this hymnal is the scripture references with the stanzas. What an excellent feature of this hymnal! So helpful in planning worship! I would highly recommend this to my colleagues in the ministry!
I'm very pleased with this hymn book. I've been wanting to sing hymns with my family during Devotions, and this hymn book exceeded my expectations. It provides a little bit of history about each hymn and scripture verses that relate to each stanza, so we get to do a nice hymn study as a family. I highly recommend this!
